ERNiCr-4 UNS N06072 AWS 5.14 welding wire
Overview
ERNiCr-4 is a nickel-based alloy welding wire, mainly used for welding nickel-based alloys such as Inconel, Incoloy and Hastelloy. These alloys are commonly used in high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments in aerospace, petrochemical, nuclear industry and other fields.
The main components of ERNiCr-4 wire are elements such as nickel, chromium and iron, which form solid solutions and metal compounds in the alloy, making the wire have excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and oxidation resistance. At the same time, the welding wire also has good welding process and mechanical properties, can form a good metallurgical combination with the base material, and has high durability and reliability.
In the welding process, the molten pool of ERNiCr-4 welding wire has good fluidity, and it is not easy to have defects such as pores and cracks. At the same time, the welding wire can maintain high corrosion resistance and high temperature strength after welding, and can withstand the test of high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environment.
In addition to applications in the field of welding, ERNiCr-4 welding wire can also be used for the welding of dissimilar metals, such as stainless steel, carbon steel and alloy steel. Through reasonable process control and selection of appropriate filling materials, ERNiCr-4 welding wire can effectively realize the connection and repair between different metals.

Corrosion Resistance
ERNiCr-4 is a nickel-based alloy welding wire with excellent corrosion resistance. The welding wire can effectively resist the erosion of oxidation, corrosion and corrosive gas in the welding process, so that the weld is not easy to corrode and has a long service life.
The corrosion resistance of ERNiCr-4 is mainly due to the elements such as nickel and chromium in its composition. The nickel element can form a dense oxide film and prevent the corrosive medium from invading the inside of the material. Chromium enhances the corrosion resistance of the alloy, especially in oxidizing, reducing and acidic media. These elements work together to give ERNiCr-4 excellent corrosion resistance.
In a variety of harsh environments, such as strong acids, alkali, salt water, ERNiCr-4 can remain stable, resist the effects of oxidation, corrosion and thermal stress, and extend the service life of the equipment. Therefore, it is widely used in various industrial fields that need to withstand high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments.
