NiCr 8020,Alloy 8020 Nickel Chromium UNS N06003 Cr20Ni80 /W.Nr. 2.4869
Overview
Cr20Ni80 is a nickel-chromium alloy material, also known as NiChrome alloy. This alloy is mainly composed of 20% chromium and 80% nickel, with high temperature stability, corrosion resistance and heat resistance, is a kind of resistance electric heating alloy. Its structure is stable, electrical and physical properties are stable, high temperature mechanical properties, cold deformation plasticity, good weldability, long-term use will not produce brittle fracture.
Cr20Ni80 alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of household appliances and heating elements with operating temperatures below 1000 ° C, such as heat exchangers, hot blast stoves, ovens, electric heaters, etc., and has a long service life.

Corrosion Resistance
Corrosion resistance of Cr20Ni80 is one of its important characteristics. This nickel-chromium alloy material is composed of 20% chromium and 80% nickel, and the presence of chromium enhances its corrosion resistance. In a variety of chemical media, Cr20Ni80 can work stably for a long time, showing good corrosion resistance. Whether in acidic, alkaline or other corrosive environments, it can maintain high stability.
Cr20Ni80 has good high temperature stability, which means that its corrosion resistance is maintained even under high temperature conditions. Therefore, this material is often used in the manufacture of high temperature working components, such as high temperature heaters, stoves and electric heaters.
